Mr. Nogee divides his time between the Firm’s transactional areas and civil litigation. His practice includes negotiating and preparing a variety of contracts from leases for offices, financial institutions and national and local retail establishments, to construction contracts and joint venture agreements as well as representing sellers and purchasers of all classes of real estate. Additionally, Mr. Nogee advises clients on wills, trusts, estate planning and probate matters.
Prior to founding his own private practice in 1990, Mr. Nogee was a Senior Attorney at the world’s largest construction and engineering firm, Ebasco Services Incorporated, and a partner in the law firm of Brauner Baron Rosenzweig et al.
Among his more notable construction projects are the representation of the turnkey contractor in a 600 MW Natural Gas Fired Cogeneration Plant in New Jersey, a 300 MW Fluidized Bed Coal Fired Cogeneration Plant in upstate New York, a 900 ton per day mass burn waste-to-energy cogeneration project on Long Island as well as a 2 x 600 MW Coal Fired Project in the People’s Republic of China.
Mr. Nogee’s writings have appeared in a number of publications including “Forbes”, “Engineering News Record” and “Contractor Profit News” on topics such as international trade, countertrade and contracting practices. He also is the co-author of a private study on conventional arms transfers for the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency.
