Biography
Mr. Altschuler is a founding partner of the firm and has practiced in the Landlord/Tenant area for forty years. Over this time, he has litigated several milestone cases in the New York Supreme Court involving commercial litigation disputes and entitlement to injunctive relief. He is known for having prosecuted several successful non-primary residence proceedings against foreign missions to the United Nations before the Federal Court. He is also a pioneer in the practice of summary non-payment and holdover proceedings. Presently, aside from his busy litigation practice, he is the supervising partner of the Firm’s “Supreme Court” division who, as always, maintains a “hands-on” approach to the numerous and varied cases litigated in the Supreme Court division.
