Mr. Gitelman has been practicing Landlord/Tenant law for over 6 years. He has successfully tried a number of Housing Cases, including non-payment and HP proceedings. In addition to representing clients in the Supreme and Civil Courts of the State of New York, Mr. Gitelman has represented Landlords in Federal District Court, and the Harlem Community Justice Center. Mr. Gitelman has also appeared on behalf of landlords before various administrative agencies of the City of New York.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gitelman served as Associate-General in-house Counsel to a real estate management company where he oversaw a portfolio of approximately 50 rent stabilized buildings, and prior thereto, was in-house Counsel to a real estate management and development company.
