Biography
Kimberly Dukhan is a partner in the firm's landlord/tenant division. Kimberly brings a broad perspective to the firm, stemming from her prior experiences with business, the court system, and as in-house counsel to a property management company.
She concentrated in Finance and Management while attending SUNY Albany. Kimberly earned a joint JD/MBA degree while attending Hofstra University. While in law school, she did a judicial internship in Brooklyn Housing Court where she gained insight into the court's perspective in handling cases in the trial, resolution, and HP parts. It was during her judicial internship that her interest in real estate grew.
Kimberly was in-house counsel for a New York City property management company where she appeared as the attorney of record as well as oversaw outside counsel in litigation involving hundreds of residential and commercial properties in its large portfolio. She regularly negotiated commercial leases and settlement agreements with opposing counsel while gaining hands-on experience with routine and complex business, compliance, accounting, and construction matters. Due to her insights, she was able to create and implement new and practical processes to assure ongoing compliance with the law and court and administrative agency orders. Kimberly was entrusted to use her business insights and sound judgment to provide solutions to day-to-day, sensitive and challenging issues, which she now uses to assist our firm's clients.
