Biography

Dawn R. Myers is a real estate litigator with a strong background in administrative proceedings before the New York State Division of Housing & Community Renewal (DHCR). Ms. Myers was employed by the DHCR for more than a decade. She was the Rent Administrator and Rent Program Manager of the Rent Overcharge Section at the DHCR. Ms. Myers possesses an unparalleled insight into the intricacies of DHCR procedure and policy having trained employees and assisted in the development of processing procedures which are still utilized by the DHCR Office of Rent Administration. Prior to joining Borah Goldstein. Ms. Myers was an administrative law partner at a boutique real estate law firm and most recently a solo practitioner specializing in DHCR proceedings. Ms. Myers was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1997, after having graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 1996.
