Peter Levantis is an associate in the Firm's Transactional Department, where he concentrates his practice on transactional matters in the real estate and construction industries.
Peter practices in all facets of commercial and residential transactions, including financing, acquisitions, development, dispositions, leasing and workouts. He represents borrowers and lenders, purchasers and sellers, landlords and tenants of all classes of real estate. He regularly advises condominium associations and cooperative housing corporations on a diverse range of matters, including financial transactions, capital improvements and construction projects.
Peter also represents construction project owners, developers, construction managers, and contractors in connection with private and public construction projects. He negotiates and drafts agreements covering the services to be provided by architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors as well as license agreements between adjacent property owners.
While attending the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Peter was a student contributor to the New York Real Estate Reporter where he authored numerous case comments.
